About Stowe Land Trust
Stowe Land Trust is a local, member-supported, non-profit 501(c)(3) land conservation organization in Stowe, Vermont dedicated to the conservation of scenic, recreational, and productive farm and forest lands for the benefit of the greater Stowe community. In the late 1980s, a group of concerned citizens rallied together to save the 235-acre Mayo Farm in the heart of Stowe. Stowe Land Trust was born out of that effort. Since then, with the support of our community, we have protected and help to care for over 4,300 acres of land that is special to us all.
