Grey Fox Inn & Resort

The Grey Fox Inn & Resort is a 34-room boutique hotel in a prime location in Stowe. On Mountain Road, Grey Fox is walking distance to Stowe Village and five miles from Stowe Mountain Resort. The West Branch River runs through the far end of their 7.5 acre property, as does the popular Stowe Recreation Path. The “Rec Path” used by walkers and bikers alike is a 5.5 mile paved trail that winds from Stowe Village through beautiful countryside scenery and river crossings. For mountain bike enthusiasts, Grey Fox Inn is located less than one mile from the Cady Hill Forest trails.

The Grey Fox has been under new ownership since July 2017. All rooms have been fully renovated with new pillowtop beds, new furniture, conveniently located USB ports, 43-inch and 55-inch smart TV’s and a new fiber optic WiFi network.

The Main Inn has three levels and contains 18 rooms of various styles and configurations, including both one and two bed units, fireplace suites and a large two-bedroom condo for groups and families.

The separate Mountain View building has three levels and 16 rooms.  All rooms have views of Mount Mansfield and easy access to the Grey Fox’s expansive lawn area and the Rec Path. Room styles include two-bedroom condos, efficiency (kitchenette) rooms with fireplace, and the guest favorite “Corner King” room with panoramic windows.

Onsite amenities include indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, hot tub* and a fitness room.

All units are non-smoking. No pets allowed.
