Birds, Trails, and Forestry Walk: How Are They Connected?

You know and love Cady Hill Forest for its trails, but have you ever considered what other aspects of the forest are important?

Participate in a guided walk through Cady Hill on June 1 from 8 – 10 a.m. to learn about the birds and changing habitat within the forest. Audubon Vermont‘s Steve Hagenbuch will be our fearless leader, co-hosted with the Vermont Woodlands Association. The talk will include what makes a healthy bird habitat, sustainable forestry practices, and how the two intersect with the recreational use of the land and forest.

Meet at the Substation parking lot off of Cady Hill Road at 8 a.m. for this two-hour stroll. This is a family-friendly event, and questions are encouraged!
