A Gift Shop for Adventurous Souls

Tangerine & Olive came from an idea that beautiful and well crafted goods do not have to be made in overseas factories nor do they need to be out of reach for so many. We focus on independent designers and makers who handcraft, hand print or small batch manufacture in the US & Canada with ethically sourced materials and a sense of adventure. It is at the heart of what we do, what we sell, and who we are! We love supporting our makers and hope you will, too.

Nature & Wildlife 

As nature and wildlife lovers, we try to get outdoors and explore as often as we can whether it be on skis, on snowshoes, on bikes or our favorite, in kayaks! Our love for the outdoors and our beloved state of Vermont shines throughout the shop. From the moose and bear pillows we carry and our our Stowe, VT Tees,  right down to our fun letterpress cards and everything in between. Any wildlife lover, explorer, adventure seeker or outdoorsy person will find something they love in our sunny shop with our famous view overlooking the river and Stowe Community Church.

At Tangerine & Olive you will find lots of thoughtful gift ideas like handcrafted jewelry, clothing, tote bags, art prints, puzzles, VT maple syrup (from our friends at the Golden Dog Farm in Smugglers’ Notch), Letterpress cards & stationery, a huge vinyl sticker collection, and much more. All inspired by our love for the great outdoors!

Our Makers

We strive to find Makers who are kind, eco-friendly, and who love & care about the great outdoors and its inhabitants for future generations. We are Woman powered! Most of our Makers are women.
We are a Fur-free shop!

Our Famous View

Visit the shop! Our view of the Stowe Community Church is famous! We are a short, beautiful 10 minute walk up Mountain Rd from Stowe Village and just 3 doors down from Doc Ponds. Upper parking lots are free.
