von Trapp Brewing Bierhall Restaurant

Located on the grounds of the Trapp Family Lodge, the von Trapp Brewing Bierhall Restaurant is conveniently situated on 60km of private cross-county ski and mountain bike trails. The Bierhall is a gathering place for friends to enjoy “a little of Austria, a lot of Vermont,” serving fresh lager beers and a selection of freshly prepared Austrian lunch and dinner selections. Many of the menu items are prepared on the wood-fired Parrilla grill that is the showcase feature of the Bierhall. Start and finish your mountain bike ride or cross-county ski/snowshoe at the Bierhall Restaurant and check out our on site 18-hole disc golf course.

The Trapp family history coupled with Johannes von Trapp’s genuine appreciation for Austrian style-beer inspired the mission of von Trapp Brewing: to create a traditional European lager – clean, light, crisp beer that boasts a robust flavor. The von Trapp Brewery currently produces several lagers brewed from the finest authentic Austrian ingredients and their own pure Vermont spring water.
