Join Stowe Mountain Resort atop Vermont’s highest peak for the awe-inspiring Total Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024. Take part in this once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon. Offerings include a ticketed party at the Cliff House Restaurant (limited to 100 guests) and public viewing outside the Cliff House and Octagon Cafe. Read on to learn more and reserve tickets.
Cliff House Eclipse Party
Limited to 100 lucky guests, the Cliff House Eclipse Party includes a special menu of culinary delights, live music, commemorative swag, private access to the Cliff House deck, and more.
Tickets for Cliff House Eclipse Party:
- $150 for Pass Holders
- $205 for non- Pass Holders; includes a Gondola SkyRide ticket.
- Please Note: Tickets to the Cliff House Party are officially SOLD OUT; Gondola SkyRide tickets are still available.

In addition to the Cliff House Party, there will also be a limited number of Gondola SkyRide tickets for non-Pass Holders to view the eclipse from outside the Cliff House.
Please Note: The Mansfield Gondola SkyRide is planned to operate starting at 12:30 p.m. on April 8, 2024.
Schedule of Events:
- 12:30 p.m.: Mansfield Gondola Opens
- 2 p.m.: Cliff House Party Begins
- 2:14 p.m.: Partial Eclipse Begins
- 3 p.m.: Lift Operations Pause
- 3:26 p.m.: Totality Begins
- 3:27 p.m.: Maximum Totality
- 3:29 p.m.: Totality Ends
- 3:45 p.m.: Lift Operations Resume
- 4:37 p.m.: Partial Ends
- 5 p.m.: Lift Operations Cease (Over Easy Gondola planned to operate until 5:30 p.m.)

- Down at the base outside Mansfield or Midway Base Lodges; Midway is scheduled to open starting at 12:30 p.m.
- Please note: Paid parking will not be active; resort parking is not guaranteed.
- Arriving early is recommended, and if possible, carpooling, to help reduce traffic on VT Route 108 (Mountain Road) coming to and from the resort.
- Resort shuttles will be servicing both the Toll House and Cross Country Center parking areas as needed.
- For those attending the Cliff House Party, or who have purchased Gondola SkyRide tickets, please allow adequate time to arrive and park.
