British Invasion and The British Invasion Block Party
September 13 – 15, 2019
British Invasion is the largest all British motorcar show in the United States, with more than 600 British motor cars come to Stowe from North America. This weekend-long event is filled with a variety of activities—from the motorcar show to driving tours, all with the scenic Green Mountain backdrop. The weekend kicks off with the British Invasion Block Party on Friday, September 13. Stowe’s Main Street closes down as British cars are on display while visitors enjoy live music, a British food court and craft brew garden. Stowe Foliage Art on Park & Blue Ribbon Apple Pie Baking Contest
September 21, 2019 | 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Another unique way to get out this fall is at Stowe Foliage Art on Park. Park Street in Stowe’s historic village is transformed into an autumn-themed artisan market. Start your holiday shopping early with a selection of local artisan goods, jewelry, woodworking, crafts and more. Local musician Cooie DeFrancesco will play tunes while you shop and food and beverages from local vendors. End the day with the 4th Annual Blue Ribbon Pie Baking Contest where amateur Vermont bakers compete in a bake-off. (Insider Tip: After some shopping in the downtown village, head over to Trapp Family Lodge for the 10th Annual Oktoberfest going on until 7 p.m.)
