DESCRIPTION:The Vermont Auto Enthusiasts‘ (VAE) signature annual event is the Vermont Antique and Classic Car Meet. This annual show will be held at Farr Field\, just two miles west of Waterbury Village on US Rte. 2. \nEvent Details\nShow highlights include a car corral\, a huge automotive flea market\, the Show car parade through downtown Waterbury\, and the judged show. Car classes include military\, street rods and motorcycles. Added special events feature Vintage Fashion Judging\, Hot Wheels and valve cover racing. Unique and popular is the Crafter’s Tent featuring Vermont Artisans and their creations for sale. DESCRIPTION:Come spend the day on a leisurely float down the Winooski. This tour takes place on Thursdays\, Fridays\, Saturdays\, Sundays\, and Mondays. Each day Umiak runs three tours at 10 a.m.\, 12 p.m.\, and 2 p.m. \nBased on water levels and time of the season the average time for this tour takes between two to three hours for the 2.5-mile tour and four to five hours for the 4.5-mile tour. \nGuests will meet at Umiak’s takeout in Richmond. From there Umiak will shuttle you up river and drop you off at our put-in. Your shuttle driver will go over some river safety and explain the takeout points in detail.
