DESCRIPTION:Come spend the day on a leisurely float down the Winooski. This tour takes place on Thursdays\, Fridays\, Saturdays\, Sundays\, and Mondays. Each day Umiak runs three tours at 10 a.m.\, 12 p.m.\, and 2 p.m. \nBased on water levels and time of the season the average time for this tour takes between two to three hours for the 2.5-mile tour and four to five hours for the 4.5-mile tour. \nGuests will meet at Umiak’s takeout in Richmond. From there Umiak will shuttle you up river and drop you off at our put-in. Your shuttle driver will go over some river safety and explain the takeout points in detail. From there the rest is up to you. Enjoy the scenic float on the historic and beautiful Winooski River.
