Stowe Tango Music Festival
The Stowe Tango Music Festival is the premier tango music festival in the United States and has been noted for both its unique series of performances and its high level of musical training. From August 16 – 19, 2018, enjoy live performances from world-class artists during this festival.
Indulge your senses with the elegance, passion, and sensuality of the music and dance of the Argentine Tango. Led by a Grammy Award Argentine bandoneon virtuoso Hector Del Curto, the concert features the tango legends directly from Buenos Aires, acclaimed tango dancers and the unique 30 piece orchestra made up of world-renowned tango musicians and talented students around the globe. After-concert Milonga on stage is included. Don’t miss the year’s most electrifying performance!

- Top Tango Dance Performers and Teachers: Guillermina Quiroga, Mariano Logiudiche, Gabriel Missé and Partner.
- Invitation of Guest Tango Legends from Argentina: Bandoneon master, Julio Pane, pianist Nicolás Ledesma and violinist Humberto Ridolfi.
- The Stowe Tango Music Festival Orchestra: 25 plus piece tango orchestra comprised of an extraordinary group of selected students from all over the globe and world-class artists including guest tango legends from Argentina.
- The Che Bandoneon International Competition: The world’s only annual bandoneon competition.

Tango Jam: A free event and open to the public. Bring your instruments and join the festival musicians and jam. Dancers, bring your shoes. Tango with us!

Time: 10:30 a.m. – midnight
Multiple workshops for dance, musicality and choreography will take place during the day. The Festival Milonga will take place from 8 p.m. – midnight. These events are for Pass Holders only.

Two dance workshops for Pass Holders only will take place during this time.

Tango Trail: Public events throughout Stowe. Enjoy a Tango Talk at Stowe Free Library, a Showcase Concert at Stowe Community Church and Tango Takes Stowe! Mini – Milongas at various locations around town. All Tango Trail events are free.
Time: 4:30 – 2 a.m
The Tango Practica will be available for Pass Holders only.
Time: 8 p.m.
The Festival Concert is the highlight of the week.
