Stowe Vibrancy Announces 2019 Event Lineup
Full Calendar of Family-Friendly Events in Stowe This Summer and Fall

STOWE, VT (June 3, 2019) – Stowe Vibrancy has announced a robust lineup of events in the historic Stowe Village for the summer season. Starting with Chowderpalooza & Spring Art On Park on May 25, the vibrant lineup includes the return of several signature summer events including An Old Fashioned Fourth of July, as well as a full calendar of family-friendly events through the fall.

“We’re pleased to deliver an exciting lineup of festive events that bring the Stowe community and businesses together as well as attract visitors to the area,” said Aimee Green, executive director, Stowe Vibrancy. Stowe Vibrancy, a non-profit organization that serves as the Town of Stowe’s official Downtown Organization, produces more than 20 annual events and helps support growth and vitality in the historic Stowe village.

Highlights of Stowe Vibrancy’s 2019 event schedule include:

B3 Fest Block Party

June 14, 2019

Kick off the B3 Fest – Bikes, Brews & Beats with an unforgettable party on Park Street in the Village featuring tastings and samples from some of the area’s finest producers of craft brews and artisan foods and live music. Immediately following the block party is the Critical Mass Ride, a family-friendly bike ride up the Mountain Road to the B3 Fest Kick-Off Party at Piecasso Pizzeria & Lounge.

Gardens of Stowe

June 30, 2019

is a self-guided garden tour that takes visitors through some of Stowe’s most unique and interesting private and commercial gardens at your own pace. The event starts and ends at Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa where garden tour maps and descriptions will be provided. This rain-or-shine event concludes with a tea party reception and entertainment from 3 – 4 p.m.

An Old-Fashioned Fourth of July

July 4, 2019

Celebrate the Fourth of July in Stowe during An Old-Fashioned Fourth of July. Named by Fodor’s Travel as one of “America’s 15 Best Small-Town Fourth of July Celebrations, this family-friendly, day-long celebration features parades, food, music, fireworks and more. Start the day with the Moscow Parade at 10 a.m., followed by a festival and parade in the heart of Stowe, and end the day with an impressive firework display at the Mayo Events Field.

Art On Park Summer Series

Thursdays from July 11 – August 22

This summer series of artisan markets on Park Street in the Village features local artists, handmade goods, live music and specialty food and beverages. Shop from jewelers, artists, woodworkers, accessory and apparel designers, potters and other craftspeople. Discover a different musician every week, such as Josh Panda.

Saturday Cinema on the Lawn

July 27 & August 10, 2019

Relax and enjoy summer nights in Stowe at Saturday Cinema on the Lawn featuring two outdoor film screening events on the Stowe Free Library/Helen Day Art Center lawn. Families and friends are encouraged to dress in costume while watching the movie and enjoy movie-themed concessions and other special features.

A British Invasion Block Party

September 13, 2019

This celebration on Main Street in Stowe will kick off the largest all-British motorcar show in the United States. Celebrate the great British Motorcar and British lifestyle with a British food court, a craft brew garden with plenty of British motorcars to view and music by Joey Leone’s Chop Shop. British Invasion weekend attracts more than 600 British motorcars from North America.

Stowe Foliage Art On Park

September 21, 2019

Celebrate all things fall at this special autumn edition of Art On Park. Enjoy fall-themed beverages, specialty foods and live music. Shop from jewelers, artists, woodworkers, accessory and apparel designers, potters, craftspeople and specialty food and beverage producers. Vermont amateur bakers can compete in the 4th Annual Blue Ribbon Pie Baking Contest.
