Saturday Cinema on the Lawn to Take Place in Stowe July 20 and August 10
Two outdoor film screenings with movie-themed lawn parties, festive food and special features
STOWE, VT (July 10, 2019) – Stowe Vibrancy has announced the dates for Saturday Cinema on the Lawn. The two outdoor film screening events will take place in Stowe’s historic Village on July 20 and August 10, 2019 on the Stowe Free Library/Helen Day Art Center lawn.
Saturday Cinema on the Lawn will feature a lawn party before the movie screening at dusk, and also have movie-themed concessions and other special features. “This event has become a beloved tradition in Stowe and is a great way to relax and enjoy summer nights in Stowe,” said Aimee Green, executive director, Stowe Vibrancy, the host organization.
The movie schedule includes:
- Saturday, July 20, 2019: Lawn party will begin at 6:30 p.m. with Grease to air at 9 p.m.
- Saturday, August 10, 2019: Lawn party will begin at 6 p.m. with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone to air starting at 8:30 p.m.
Entrance to Saturday Cinema on the Lawn is complimentary. Food and beverages are additional. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
