New Year’s Eve Dinners

Rockin’ Bowling New Year’s Eve at Stowe Bowl
Make this New Year’s Eve the best ever at Stowe Bowl, a boutique bowling alley offering plenty of fun and entertainment, great food and drinks. Add a ball drop and countdown and ring in the New Year at Stowe Bowl! Make a reservation for two separate time slots: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., and 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Reservations include bowling, shoe rentals, party favors, a selection of snacks on your table and a champagne toast (or sparkling cider for the kids)!

Holiday Celebrations at Spruce Peak
From Main Street up to the mountain, celebrate the New Year with The Lodge at Spruce Peak. Enjoy a holiday inspired 5-course prix fixe menu at Solstice from 5 to 10 p.m. with a children’s buffet option. Alternatively, top off 2018 with a festive dinner in the property’s dazzling ballrooms, with holiday-inspired food stations, DJ and supervised kids activity room. Guests 21 and over can also buy a ticket to the late-night dance party, complete with an open bar. Complimentary valet parking included. Reservations required. Special Multi-Course Menu at The Bistro at Ten Acres
Treat yourself to a special New Year’s Eve multi-course menu at The Bistro at Ten Acres. Enjoy a selection of vibrant flavors including Beet and Arugula Salad with Prosecco vinaigrette, Osso Bucco Pot Pie, Butternut Squash Risotto and Hot Toddy Panacotta. Decisions! There are two seatings: the 6 p.m. seating features a 4-course menu, and the 8:30 p.m. seating features a 7-course menu. Confirm your reservation by the 29th.

Ringing In 2018 with Charlie B’s
Charlie B’s Restaurant & Pub will be serving a special multi-course dinner menu on New Year’s Eve, featuring Vermont flavors and locally made items. A true Stowe classic, Charlie B’s offers a warm and cozy atmosphere with a wood burning fireplace and an inviting wrap-around bar, Charlie B’s is the quintessential Vermont tavern. Sweet Treats at Stowe Bee Bakery & Café
When: Through the holidays
Stowe Bee Bakery & Café uses the best local ingredients, simply yet artfully prepared with love in a relaxed and inviting environment. This holiday season, Stowe Bee is baking up bags of special delicious holiday cookies and also has a holiday order menu through Christmas, such as Egg Nog Cheese Cake and Chocolate Hazelnut or Chocolate Raspberry Tartlettes. There are also fun decorate-your-own cookie kits with fresh baked sugar cookies and delicious gingerbread house kits!

Burgers, Brews & Bites at Ranch Camp
When: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through December 21
Have your choice of a locally-sourced grass-fed beef burger or a vegan beet burger, chips and a Heady Topper or Focal Banger for just $10 at Ranch Camp. There’s also a late lunch menu for $8 including Tacos, Street Corn and more. Stowe Bowl’s newest holiday cocktail special will get you into the holiday “spirit” – the Naughty Nog, featuring RumChata, butterscotch schnapps and garnished with nutmeg and a cinnamon stick. [INSIDER TIP: Stowe Bowl is hosting two live music holiday nights – December 23 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., and December 27 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. – featuring holiday favorites and tunes from the Great American Songbook by Taryn Noelle and Michael Hartigan].

‘Local Love’ at Cork Wine Bar & Market of Stowe
When: Daily through New Year
During ‘Local Love,’ enjoy 50% off small plates from 4 to 6 p.m. with purchase of wine or beer. You’re sure to find an exquisite wine or local brew at this natural wine bar, restaurant and retail shop in the historic Stowe village. Alongside ‘Local Love,’ Cork Wine Bar & Market of Stowe also is featuring oyster specials on Fridays and Saturdays. Enjoy $1 Oysters from 4 to 6 p.m., $2 oysters after 6 p.m. as well as 6 oysters with a premium sparkling wine for $25.

Winter Solstice Benefit & Stowe Cider Release
When: December 21
Welcome winter with a celebration at the Matterhorn Bar & Grill.  Join Stowe Cider for live music featuring Annie in the Water, a huge winter raffle (including skis, a snowboard and other winter swag) and the release of their newest cider, Tuned Up. Stowe Cider’s ode to Mount Mansfield will be on special in 16 oz. Cans. Raffle includes items from Ski Essentials and Vermont brands like Skida and Darn Tough. Funds raised from this event will benefit the High Fives Foundation.

Holiday Wine Tasting Events at Trapp Family Lodge
When: December 26 & December 29
On December 26, sample and compare red wine varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlots and Bordeaux from Stag’s Leap and others at the Holiday Bordeaux & Napa Tasting in the Trapp Family Lodge Wine Cellar. And what better way to kick off your New Year’s Eve celebration two days early than with a champagne tasting? On December 29, sample five exciting Champagnes at a special holiday tasting at the Trapp Family Lodge. Cost is $40 per person.
