Winter Rendezvous

Wednesday, January 22 – Sunday, January 26, 2020
This five-day whirlwind event features a variety of winter activities and entertainment from downhill and cross country skiing to sleigh rides and dogsledding. The Winter Rendezvous is Stowe’s largest LGBTQ pride celebration in it’s 36th year. The festivities coincide with the Stowe Winter Carnival for a truly colorful experience. 


Stowe Winter Carnival

Thursday, January 23 – Sunday, January 26, 2020
This time-honored winter celebration brings the town and visitors together to watch professional ice carvers create ice sculptures throughout the town that sparkle in the sun by day and glow at night. The 46th Annual Stowe Winter Carnival also features professional ice carving competitions, activities for children and more than 20 other unique activities. This ice festival is sure to create an unforgettable winter escape. 


Stowe Derby

Sunday, February 23, 2020
At the 75th annual Stowe Derby, avid national skiers will compete in a 20 kilometer cross-country ski race through the town of Stowe. This festive race begins by skiing down Stowe Mountain Resort’s Auto Toll Road, along the Stowe Rec Path and into the Stowe Village. The event draws families of ski racers⁠—from children to grandparents—for a true multi-generational celebration on snow. Skiers of all ages are encouraged to wear their best derby hats and join the fun at the after-party.
