December 14 – 15
Cheers to the holidays at Boyden Valley Winery, which is hosting its annual Vermont Ice Wine and Cocktail Open House. Stock up on holiday presents for loved ones while enjoying your favorite Boyden Valley wine, cider or warm glass of Glögg.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
December 20 – 22
Stowe area actors perform a play about a Christmas pageant for a local church. Experience an evening of mayhem and fun at the Stowe Community Church in the decorated historic Village.

Members’ Art Show & Sale and Festival of Trees & Light
Through December 28
Helen Day Art Center hosts its annual art show and festival of trees and lights. The art gallery is transformed into an eclectic holiday display featuring their members’ artwork, decorated Christmas trees, Hanukkah displays and more.

Spruce Peak Lights Festival
December 21
Join Spruce Peak for a spirited day including photos with Santa, a “Spruce Toast,” a musical performance by the Barre-Tones A Cappella Group, ice skating performances, the tree and village lighting ceremony and fireworks!

Skate with Santa
December 21
Enjoy holiday tunes while skating with Santa at Stowe Arena. Show off your ice skating skills and have some fun with Santa on ice. Stowe Arena is a great place for parties! 

Candy Cane Demonstrations
Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays before Christmas
Learn how to make homemade candy canes and watch as the masters pull, twist and roll magnificent candy cane works of art at Laughing Moon Chocolates in downtown Stowe. Pick up some local chocolates to complete/round out your shopping!

Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center Performances
Season-long
Be sure to spend the evening at a live performance at Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center. Their bountiful holiday line-up includes: The Bolshoi Ballet in HD: The Nutcracker, The Met Opera Live in HD: Madama Butterfly, Teton Gravity Research: Winterland and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony: Green Mountain Mahler Festival.
