wReady for a memorable long weekend escape to Stowe, Vermont? Whether you are celebrating Valentine’s Day on a snowy retreat or looking for outdoor adventure over Presidents’ Day Weekend, there are plenty of local events that are sure to make for an exciting weekend. From craft beverage tastings to live music and outdoor adventure tours, you’re in for a real treat with these holiday weekend events:

Outdoor Adventure
For a romantic outdoor adventure, take a moonlight snowshoe tour with your significant other on Valentine’s Day ending with a fondue dinner at the Stowehof. Or spend your Valentine’s evening cozying up on a peaceful walk through the Stowe Village while learning the history of Stowe with Stowe, at Night Lantern Tours. On Saturday, February 15, join Stowe Land Trust, a local land conservation organization, and kick off your weekend with a Nordic trip trek through Brownsville-Story Ridge Forest.

Craft Beverage Tastings

Taste your way through Stowe during the holiday weekend. Start and end your weekend with craft beer and cider tastings at Harvest Market. Join local cider and cheese makers at Stowe Cider on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. for Shades of Rosé. Head back to Stowe Cider on Saturday afternoon for their Cider Saturday tasting event, then up to Trapp Family Lodge for a special wine tasting in their wine cellar. Be sure to arrange a designated driver, or–better yet–take the complimentary Mountain Road Shuttle.

Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center
Live Music Events
Enjoy tunes at Stowe Cider for their Friday Night Music Series and their Saturday night “Annie in the Water” concert. On Sunday, Spruce Peak Chamber Music Society will perform “Intimate Letters” at Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center.

Cooking Classes
Spend time learning to cook with loved ones and friends at Stowe Kitchen Bath & Linens. On Saturday you can learn how to make your own sushi and, on Sunday, discover how to make brunch inspired by a ski resort.
