Have you had a chance to check out the thriving arts scene in Stowe this summer? Whether you have or have not, there is still time to experience the rich culture of the Stowe arts community. From live music to outdoor sculptures and unique exhibits, there are many ways to be inspired by the arts in the Green Mountains this summer.
Music in the Meadow

Enjoy a Music in the Meadow Concert on August 8 at Trapp Family Lodge! Jam out to Red Baraat, a fusion of hip-hop, jazz and raw punk energy, while encompassed by gorgeous mountain views.
Gardens of Stowe
August 8, 2021
The 5th Annual Gardens of Stowe is a self-guided tour of some of Stowe’s most interesting and innovative public and private gardens. This year’s theme, “Art in the Garden,” features local artists creating artwork in select gardens showcased on the tour.
Gazebo Concerts

Relax in the Stowe Village on Tuesday nights at Gazebo Concerts, held at the gazebo in front of The Current. Enjoy live music from new musicians each week!
Stowe Tango Festival
August 19 – 22, 2021
Back in Stowe for its annual event, the Stowe Tango Music Festival is the premier tango music festival in the United States and has been noted for both its unique series of performances and its high level of musical training. Enjoy live and virtual performances from world-class artists during this festival.

Thursday nights in downtown Stowe transform into a place to wine, dine, sip, shop, and enjoy all that the Village of Stowe has to offer while taking in a weekly straight-ahead jazz residency with Vermont Jazz Trio.
Spruce Peak Summer Concert Series

Head to the Spruce Peak Village Green for evenings of amazing music, great food and outdoor fun. Experience celebrated musicians in a unique, stripped-down format while enjoying the magical setting of Mount Mansfield, Vermont’s highest peak.
Exposed 2021
Until October 23, 2021
In its 30th year this summer, Exposed showcases outdoor sculptures in the Stowe Village surrounding The Current until late October. Both visitors and art enthusiasts will be able to view unique and large-scale sculptural installations, along with the opportunity to see the three contemporary art exhibits and a makerspace inside the gallery.
Meleko Mokgosi: Scripto-visual, A Solo Exhibition
Until November 13, 2021
The Current’s summer and fall exhibition is a Scripto-visual, a neologism that comes from the combination of image and textual work and a continuation of Meleko Mokgosi’s investigations regarding the links between these two elements in relation to the politics of representation.
