A Traditional Christmas in Stowe
December 3 – 5, 2021
Kick off the holiday season by attending A Traditional Christmas in Stowe, named a “Top Ten Winter Event” by the Vermont Chamber of Commerce in 2018 and 2019. Get your family and friends in the holiday spirit, this event has activities to fit everyone in your party’s interest. A Traditional Christmas in Stowe includes a children’s lantern parade and tree-lighting, gingerbread ornament decorating, wine tasting, ice skating and much more.
Winter Rendezvous
January 19 – 23, 2022
Join us in celebrating the 39th annual Winter Rendezvous, an LGBTQIA+ pride celebration in Stowe. The Winter Rendezvous attracts hundreds of LGBTQIA+ skiers, riders and winter enthusiasts for an action-packed five-day event. From Nordic skiing at Trapp Family Lodge and alpine skiing and riding at Stowe Mountain Resort in addition to a diverse lineup of activities and entertainment. Other outdoor activities include ice skating, horse-drawn sleigh rides, snowmobiles, dog sledding, hot tubs, and bonfires.
Stowe Winter Carnival
January 20 – 22, 2022
Stop by the 46th annual Stowe Winter Carnival and see why it was ranked by Country Living as one of the “15 Best Winter Festivals All Across the U.S.” With over 20 major activities for both young and old, from zany sports events, the ice carving competitions, ski movies, kids carnival kaos and the infamous snowgolf and snow volleyball tournaments. Select which activities you wish to participate in and enjoy the town of Stowe during the most magical time of the year.
Stowe Derby

The 76th annual Stowe Derby is the oldest downhill cross country in North America. This historic race starts on Mount Mansfield’s Toll Road and has a total vertical drop of almost 2,700 feet, making it one of the more face paced cross country races around. With options for added fun such as fat biking or the kids course, it is hard to say whether it’s more fun to participate in or be on sidelines during race day!
